Reading Challenges: Wonder Week Read-A-Thon

From the 25th August to the 1st September, Rimpy’s Reads is hosting Wonder Week Read-A-Thon which sounds like a lot of fun (and probably a lot easier than other read-a-thons I was contemplating joining because I chose the complete worst time possibly to download Final Fantasy XIV).

So, the theme is to make a line in the following bingo board. I’m gonna be ambitious and fail at getting 100% of them lol

My TBR (going down each column):

  • Thriller: Tempting Evil by Allison Brennan
  • Contains Pirates: The Djinn Kingdom by LJ Andrews
  • Single Word Title: Spellslinger by Sebastien de Castell
  • Last Book in a Series: The Day of the Duchess by Sarah MacLean (possibly not the last in a series, but it’s the last in this series that’s out currently?)
  • Set in High School: Matched by Ally Condie
  • Has Assassins: The Way of Shadows by Brent Weeks
  • Contemporary: Nine Uses for an Ex-Boyfriend by Sarra Manning
  • Fantasy: Flame in the Mist by Renee Ahdieh
  • Under 200 Pages: Love Devours by Sarah Diemer
  • Set in the Future: False Hearts by Laura Lam
  • People Are Fighting on the Cover: Counterpoint: Song of the Fallen by Rachel Haimowitz
  • Non-Fiction: Bi Notes for a Bisexual Revolution by Shiri Eisner
  • First Book in a Series: Stalking Jack the Ripper by Kerri Maniscalco
  • Book to Movie Adaptation: The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald
  • Male Protagonist: Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman
  • Contains Pictures: Gemina by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff
  • Over 300 Pages: The Imposter Queen by Sarah Fine
  • Book You Bought for the Cover: Wintersong by S. Jae-Jones
  • Biography or Memoir: Uhhh, I think I have a biography of Sylvia Plath somewhere >.>;;
  • Over 400 Pages: Illuminae by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff
  • Book Has Been on Your Shelf for Over a Year: Under the Lights by Dahlia Adler
  • Under 100 Pages: Swelter by Jules Kelley
  • Has More than 3 Colours on the Cover: Georgia Peaches and Other Forbidden Fruit by Jaye Robin Brown
  • Science Fiction: Defy the Stars by Claudia Gray

Probably impossible for me to finish all of them like I’m wanting to considering I’ve got work and stuff too, but it’ll be fun to try. No idea what I’m gonna use for the Free Space though… will need to find something. Some of these might get swapped out though, who knows~
